Ken was not just a husband or a dad but he was a brother, an uncle and a great uncle to many it is too many to mention. He is/was part of everyone's life in some way or another. His nieces got away with calling him uncle Kenny whereas his nephews made him laugh. We are all family and we love everyone, are there for everyone. We miss the loved ones we have lost and miss the ones that we have lost contact with. We shall miss ken, Keith and nan (Margaret). There was faces on that day we said goodbye to ken that I never recognised but they had a connection to ken in some way. We all miss you dad. U will always be loved and in everyone's heart and memory. Love you always all the family x

“Away”
“I cannot say and I will not say
That he is dead, he is just away.
With a cheery smile and a wave of hand
He has wandered into an unknown land;
And left us dreaming how very fair
Its needs must be, since he lingers there.
And you-oh you, who the wildest yearn
From the old-time step and the glad return-
Think of him faring on, as dear
In the love of there, as the love of here
Think of him still the same way, I say;
He is not dead, he is just away.”
